Glasgow airport ..

Postby Cherylx » 07 Jul 2010 16:22

Hi .. wasnt away last year but the year before they had cracked down on liquids and things going through security at the airport. Glasgow airport has been "done up" since we were last in it & im just wondering if it is ok to take something from Greggs (bought from the greggs in the airport) throught the security bit before departure lounge ? .. we dont eat the inflight meals so have decided to take stuff with us, friends are just back told us there is a greggs but it is just after check in & before the security bit. Does anyone know if we will be allowed to take our food & juice etc through this security bit ?? Thanks xxx

You can take food through the security check, but no liquids - the 100ml restriction is still in force. You can keep liquids purchased at the airside shops, once you've been through the security checks.

Cheryl

Greggs and other shops like WH Smith Boots are after Security check in at Glasgow so anything you buy on these shops eg can coke etc can be taken onto the plane. Its what we do every year and did so in May this year. Boots is usually the best for drinks they usually have a BOGOF
