Really annoyed.....almost!

Postby Erik The Viking » 06 Jul 2010 18:23

Got a letter from Thms c**k today informing us of a change to our flight times and how sorry they are. The changes? we fly 15 minutes earlier going out and 20 mins earlier on way back!!

That's terrible Eric :) Hope it doesn't spoil your holiday. Will you be seeking compensation :?:

Now that is something to moan and complain about, I wouldn't be happy either.

I'm flying on 20july my flight was 0930am was informed yesterday it has changed to 21.30pm.so we gain a day but lose a night out on the town. Very disappointed because I'm bringing my grand children with me. Was looking forward to the day flight.

We fly out with them on 16th aug. Our flight from Leeds/Bradford hasn't changed. But my friend's flight has. They fly out from Manchester on the same day and their flight has been delayed by 30 mins.
Hope mine doesn't change

nope not happy at all.... was all excitied to be getting there on the monday afternoon now wont be there till the early hoursof the tuesday morning... the women on the other end of the phone whined at me and said but weve changed the flight coming back to so you make up for what you lost... I very calmly pointed out that she was a moron as the plane coming back now left turkey at 5.30am on the tuesday but we would be kicked out of our apartment at miday on the monday.. and was i supposed to sit in the street like a tramp 15+ hours because TC are idiots who cant get anything right...

she wasnt too thrilled and neither was I... so i shouted at her a bit and made her cry and get her manager.. but still no joy flights cant be changed back... but hey I get my money back for the your seat your choice thing because my chosen seats.. the ones at the exit with the legroom have already been booked weeks ago on this flight....

so now.. were at the back of the plane in cattle class thats really gonna suit the 6ft4 hubby and my tubby ass.. thanks TC

anyone know if the arm rests between the seats go up on the planes... may have a lil difficulty if they dont my ass is still very tubby...

Sayea you'd most likely get picked up from apartments about 1am ish. so maybe you could keep your room till 6pm on the day.

Am sure someone else posted on here that their flights were changed and they checked on the t'internet the flight was still showing as bookable so rang up the tour op and ended up staying on the same flight. might be worth a go.

we're with tommy cooks as well, havent had the ticket phone call yet, but know ours changed from 2pm to a 5pm flight on the 23 july, so have the grotty night flight back as well and land early hours of the morning, dont like that transfer in the dark i miss the sea view coming down the mountain.

Bev

ps you may be on a 767 if they've merged 2 flights, and if you are you'll have in flight entertainment cos its wide bodied plane. unlike ours with no entertainment.

lol Sayea, l just had a look on holiday truths and its the 757-200 , with no in flight entertainment and the 3-3 set up. think we're on an an a320/1 so yes a fliying sardine can. Well once i get me tickets i'll know what time and plane.

One thing the aisle seats armrests dont seem to lift up these days but the ones either side of middle seat do, I have same problem as you and no knee room either.
