There is not a lot in 15kg's!

We always seem to be very lucky & always have a luggage allowance as 20kg! No problems for us...plenty stuff getting rammed into the case!

Matalan are selling a roller case/holdall that weighs 2.5 kgs 40 ltrs for £35.00 think we may be treating our selves

Looking at all the posts im thinking of buying the wheeled hold alls in matalan planning a wee trip to the store tommorow and i think this kind of luggage will be an investment im not sure what our baggage allowance is think its 15kg will have to dig out paperwork and check though we are flying with Onair airlines so i guess judging by other posts from members its bound to be 15k and 5 hand luggage .

On departure from Dalaman just over a week ago,with onurair,we was 2 klos over and were not charged,nobodys hand luggage was weighed.

We take holdalls from Argos, £8.99 and they weigh 1.7kg with wheels and capacity is 83 litres. Ok not the prettiest holdall in sight but they did they trick and they held out on 3 holidays to Gambia where the luggage is almost beaten to an inch of it's life.

My daughter bought me a wheeled holdall for Xmas that weighed just over 2 Kilos.I was amazed how much I got in it !!when it was full it only weighed 11.5 kilos,so easy to manouver around.We used a case for our second piece of luggage to put things in that I didnt want to crease,and we managed to keep within our limit.

I'm a woman and don't have any problem.But I do like to buy lots of things to bring home .I've been going for 16 years and you could bring anything home.But times change .I've bought giant turtles home for the garden a large well detailed fragile boat ceramic half pots .But can't anymore because of restriction.But I feel for those traders not being able to sell.I've bought so much over the years marble fruit with bowls for presents marble snakes vases I could go on forever.Leather coats bags purses .But haho no can do anymore

you could always post the things back.. would be cheaper then being charged for over weight cases.. my mam just came home from spain last week and posted back a 4 foot hgh donkey (not an alive one and dont ask me why cos i have no idea) but it only cost her £10 to post it and it weighed like 9kg
