Litera Icmeler Hotel

Heya,

I've just come back from a week at the Litera Icemler Deluxe Hotel and I was wondering if anyone knew whether they have a facebook page, as I can't find one? Want to try and get in touch with a few of the entertainment guys who made our stay there a good laugh but didn't get the chance to ask for e-mail's etc before I left.

If you are going to stay at this hotel, you have probably noticed there are quite a lot of mixed reviews on Trip advisor etc. I think it is really down to your luck on which "block" you are allocated. We were in block A and it was fine - just bear in mind that star ratings in Turkey are not the same as here. I would say it is about 3 star standard you would get in Spain. I heard from someone who was in block c who had to rent a villa for the week, becuause it was so bad and just ate in the Hotel. When we booked, through lowcostholidays, there were two posts for the hotel and we chose the more expensive one, which may be why we got block A.

The hotel is beyond cheap considering that you get all your food and drink included (including all water and soft drinks). The food can get a bit repetative but because it is so cheap, you can afford to eat out a couple of times.

One point to note is that you get charged £25 for air conditioning for the week and need to pay for the safe (think it was £15) so add that on to your costs when considering booking there.

Overall, I had a great time and the entertainment team by the pool were very friendly and funny. The amount of entertainment you get depends on their hangovers from the night before, so don't rely on it too much if you like that kind of thing!!
