Another newbie!

Hi

I am going to Icmeler for the first time on 16th Oct after finally persuading the wife to go. We are staying at Eden Gardens apartments.

I have been amazed at the good reports about the place since finding this board after a google search.

I dont imagine it will be too hot then but it wont stop me enjoying a few cold ones!

Will most bars and restaurants, day trips etc still be open then?

Any recommendations for us would be appreciated.

Some bars and restaurants will be closed or closing, but don't worry, you'll still find plenty open!
As for day trips, my best advice would be to pop in and see the lovely ladies in the ICR office, who will be able to advise you just what is still available at that time. Some trips will only run if enough people are interested, but they'll have up-to-date info and will keep you right. You'll have a great time no matter what and become an Icmeler addict like the rest of us!

We will be going out 5th October for three weeks, so if you are interested in meeting up please pm us and we can arrange something. Icmeler starts to close down towards the end of October but a lot of places are still open, and the weather is usually reasonable, sometimes darn hot with just a few showers, so am sure you will have a great time, we always do

Hi and welcome to the forum. We arrive in Icmeler Oct 8th.

Ask around and find Vince's restaurant, some ICR members meet up there on Friday evenings around 9pm for a few bevvies, would be nice to meet you and welcome you to our little family.
