Scooter?

I was wondering, does anyone know if you need a drivers license(sorry for the spelling) to be able to rent out a scooter for a day and what the average price is?

yes you need your licence,last time we hired a scooter was a few years ago in marmaris,think it was around £10 for the day,may be cheaper for a longer hire.i,ll be getting one come september,great for getting around,just go steady.

When travelling around in Turkey you see the occasional Police Check Points, has anyone had the experience of been stopped and having to show driving and hire documents.
