If you can try and pay Cafe Rose a visit. This has the true Turkish feel to it and her food is excellent. She does a fantastic Turkish evening twice a week, but you have to book with her beforehand. If its peace and tranquility you want then have a walk up there during the day. Basically, Rose (Gulsar) has opened up her garden and has about six or eight tables. It is all shaded off with vines, so it can be quite cool on those hot August days. (getting excited just thinking about it)

Hope you enjoy your holiday

We had a lovely meal on our second last evening, it was in a small Turkish Bistro, I think the name was something like 'Arboria de Bistro'. If you walk past the Wayside as though heading to the old village, and take your first left, its about 50 yards down on the left side. Quiet music, proper Turkish feel about it, flowers in the loo's, lovely staff - very nice. First time I have seen this place but I will definitely return in October.

I'd recommend the Kerem too - really nice ambience, exceptionally friendly family who run the place and the food is gorgeous, especially the cheesecake.

As you walk past the Romance Palace towards the old village walk for about 400 metres and left side is the MEYZEM restaurant. Beautifully set out in gardens the food is delicious well priced and the atmosphere in the place is perfect
They sometimes have on live music after your meal around 10 pm jst a couple of guys playing guitar or a singer and keyboard player
