I know the guys who used to own it 5+ years ago as they live local to me.

Chistine who used to own the Geordie Bar sold it in 2007 and although it is still carries the same name without her it's not a Geordie Bar. Christine now works at the Eda Hotel and I know she would welcome all of her old friends ...

Hi Icmelites. Im getting confused here ( doesnt take much to do that) I had my 51st birthday party there which was arranged by our Turkish friends. hmm would be interested to know if the part about annette n joan true!!! i was over in may and it was still hagi/hakan (yes dark hair, but getting few greys in lol) and he was asking me, if id heard from them at all since they "went missing". Christine was over the road not in geordie bar.

Hi Guys,

This has been taken over by a very good friend of mine Rose and her husband Simon. Rose has worked in efes jewellery shop for the past 2 years and as far as I know she's still working there while Simon runs the bar.
I've never been to geordie bar but I've promised to go in September. As far as I can see from photos on facebook the kareoke is still going on!
