Just checked the exchange rate on this site

Just shows how volatile the Lira is, must be when the Turkish banks change all our hard earned pounds

that will be the interbank rate current tourist exchange rate is 2.28YTL to the £

the bank rate is always higher and is the one shown on the ICR home page
