CLUB AMAZON

Pine clad mountains, clear blue skies, deserted islands with private beaches and solitude. These are just a few things we often sit back and dream about! Except this dream can become reality by visiting Club Amazon, a private hideaway, which is tucked away from the tourist track. Club Amazon sits deep within the mountains yet looks prominently onto the Gokova Gulf of dreams, quietly guarding the secrets that it holds within.
Icmeler online have proudly been given the exclusive honour to represent them. So sit back, relax and let me reveal one of the true wonders of Turkey.

Club Amazon Is a family owned business which has been opened since 1982.The property is made up of unique little bungalows, some looking like igloos! dotted around a landscaped woodland, with hammocks hanging between the trees. The accommodation is quite different Basic, yet quaint in a peculiar way, they consist of just your bed, with a separate washroom and toilet which adjoining to the outside of the bungalow. Its like camping, but with no tents to wrangle with! When you walk into these bungalows, after a day of activities or relaxing in the sun, the coolness within the room is amazing. Each bungalow has a separate patio area where you can sit and relax.
There are two family size bungalows which consist of two rooms, each with two single beds in them. In these bungalows, the shower and bathroom is inside. These properties also have a patio area and a small play area with swings for the children to enjoy.

There is a large swimming pool, with sun beds and a pool bar. Its a wonderful place to relax and soak up th sun, or just unwind and read a book, whilst music plays quietly in the background. The whole concept is just pure relaxation. Theres even a unique little rain pool!

The restaurant is Al Fresco! It is a beautiful shaded area, covered by a gazebo of growing vines. The cuisine is Turkish, which consists of open buffet style service. Here you can savor, grilled chicken, homemade meatballs, shish kebabs, turkish mezes and guzleme, which are homemade Turkish pancakes.

At tea time, you can sit or laze around the fireplace, which is scattered with large cushions, there are books around to read and smoking pipes. Totally a Turkish pastime! Smoking aromatic tobacco, drinking turkish coffee, or sampling a few glasses of the local raki whilst gazing at the stars.

During the day, there are so many activities to choose from, you can sail along the stream through the reeds in the canoes, until you reach the crystal blue water that leads into the bays. Here you will find deserted beaches encircled by greenery, pine clad mountains and oriental sweet gum trees. You can windsurf, go fishing, play beach volleyball or even collect sea urchins. The beaches are so remote that even skinny dipping and nude sunbathing is allowed. So if you want that all over tan, here is your chance to get it!

Club Amazon is the ideal location for team building events or corporate short breaks/ Activities such as archery can be arranged, because this is a specialist activity. Icmeler online would need a minimum amount of participants to arrange this facility. Similar to the Blue Voyage by sea excursion, we can arrange our version of the Blue voyage by horse, which would involve camping en route, and this would take at least 5 to 6 nights to complete, again a minimum and maximum amount of participants would be required for this event to take place.

Children's activities at |Club Amazon include:

Kite Making
Face Painting
Wall Painting
Treasure Hunts
Giant Jenga

All of the childrens facilities would be supervised by Club Amazon staff.

Club Amazon is amazing place if you are interested in photography, there is so much to capture, whether its just the natural beauty, wildlife or the spectacular array of colours. There is so much to take in

If bird watching is one of your hobbies, then this is the place to be, birds such as the yellow vented bulbul and krupers nuthatch can be heard and seen, as well as the larger birds such as falcons. There are so many birds breeding in turkey, so for the avid birdwatcher Club Amazon holds a haven of delights.

For astronomers, stargazing at the nights sky is a must from this region of turkey. The galaxies are so clear and visible to the naked eye, that telescopes are not needed. The sky is so full of stars, and so clear, that you feel you can reach out and touch each star individually. What a way to spend your evening.

One amazing experience, whilst savoring a glass of wine of two and sampling the local cheeses, is to watch the sunset from the top of the mountains, and cast your eyes upon the Seven Islands lying down beneath you. The sun glistening on the water, as it slowly disappears over the horizon is spectacular. The colours that surround you in the midnight sky and the smell of the pine tress and scented flowers around you are a natural sedative in themselves. Leaving you totally relaxed for a peaceful nights sleep.

Icmeler online are offering this exciting package as a 2 day and 1 night stop over. It is an excursion with a complete difference and will appeal to many. So for further details please contact us, where we will be able to give you the prices and availability dates.
If all of this adventuring and outdoor life does not appeal to you, or suit you personally, then please feel free to pass this information onto someone else you might enjoy this adventure.

We decided to take a break from the late nights and partying with our many friends in Icmeler. We went into the office to see what trips were available and were told briefly about the Amazon trip. It sounded just what would suit us and booked it.

The view going up to club amazon from the mountains was spectacular.

On arrival we were given drinks whilst our bags were taken to our accomodation which was exactly as described by Rami.

We were offered the boat trip round the bays but decided to explore the area and secluded beach.

We could have taken the canoes to the beach but took the 10 minute walk through the woods.

We found ourselves on a small secluded beach with a few sunbeds and parasols and the feeling of being on a desert island the water was shallow and beautifully clear.

After about an hour Khan (one of the brothers) came down with cold drinks for us. We then went back to club amozon where we laid on big cushions by the pool read our books and cooled down in the pool.

Our hosts then made a lovely lunch of traditional turkish food, we returned to the pool area and were later brought turkish tea.

In the evening we were taken to the top of the mountains to watch the most amazing sunset overlooking the seven bays with a bottle of wine and soft music, a beautiful sight not to be missed.

On our return we sat in the al fresco resteraunt which was lit by lamps and candles and a lovely relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed a beautifully cooked turkish meal.

Afterwards we were invited to sit round the log fire and have drinks and turkish coffee and popcorn, we were offered to go up the mountains to look at the stars but decided to save that for another time.

In the morning we went out on the boat fishing (at 7am) had tea and biscuits on the boat where we just relaxed and fished.

Everywhere was so calm and quiet and the views were fantastic and the colours of the sea incredible.

Back to amazon for breakfast a choice of traditional turkish or omelette we had the omelette with tomatoes and bread.

We were driven to another secluded beach to sunbathe and swim and a few people wandered by but were mainly alone the sea was so clear and clean.

This was a truly amazing and relaxing experience our hosts were a lovely family nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly but also left you to yourselves if thats what you wanted.

We can't wait to go there again and may go for 2 nights and start our next holiday with this trip in september.

If you want peace and relaxation this is a must and we are so glad we went it was a total chill out an experience not to be missed.
