info please selen 2 apartments urgent thank you

hi there
just waiting for a call from travel agent ..
as we were booked in the eda hotel (previously bellevue) in 3 weeks
having the flights changed at the weekend ....not a big problem , we have now had a letter today saying that we can't stay in the eda , and they have booked us into the selen 2 apartments

i have done some digging and it seems like the hotel is ok , but the apartments are not to be bothered with
we like small hotels having stayed in icmeler many times before
and this looks really big
i have said we really don't want to accept this .......but what if we have no choice

any info please would be really appreciated , as there are 6 of us inc 1 11yrs old and going up to 70 years
can't even place it ........near the geordie bar is it ???????

Its the Selen hotel that is big.The apartments just across the road are much smaller.They are just around the corner from theGeordie Bar.

I stayed in Selen aparts & hotel last year when i was there for season...my parents have stayed in the aparts a few times now too!

If you know where Geordie Bar is,then the road in between there and Lemon tree-walk down there and you come to the Aparts.

How many aparts are they offering for the 6 of you??
I quite like the aparts as do my family...spacious and if you get a ground floor apart,the balconies are big.

just confirmed ....it is the hotel we have been offered and not the apartments
anyone stayed there recently ???? whats the food like
not really worried either way , just looking forward to it , seeing as we had to go to altinkum last year as our icmeler holiday company went bust on arrival at the airport .........so just glad we are icmelering soon
still any info on this hotel would be appreciated

Hi again...
Yea i stayed here for 56nights last season...
I loved it...purely because i had a bath (i know its not exciting,but being there for the season,some nights its just what u need hehe)
Ermm didnt really eat much in here,just the odd things around the pool at day time.
Staff are lovely in here--although like everywhere,they tend to change.
Have the Turkish nights every week-and pool area is gorgeous. Little tip,if you want the sun most of the day,sit by the little baby pool at the back,by the gate...have the sun till it goes down!!! was always our spot!
The little shop opposite is great its run by Alif and his dad...can change money in here too.

Hi Sharon.If you have a look on the thread "AROUND ICMELER map" you can look up where the Selen 2 is.Its currently on page 3.We stayed there 3 years ago.Its a nice hotel.Hope this helps.

Hiya...Erm the hotel is usually a busy hotel but you can always get a place round the pool--its a really nice hotel!
Yea the food is alright..as parents have stayed here few times and we ate here,so it is nice...just same as most hotels really and i always find the food is always much nicer in the restaurants than any hotel-my opinion!

Location...if your at Tansas,cross over and you come to Red Lion on the corner. Go straight down this road,past moonlight,selam and you come to the hotel.
Other way---top of canal turn right past Florida and the first corner you come too-turn left-past Dursan aparts and Holiday Restaurant and you come to the hotel.
Or another way--top of canal,straight up past sport inn,come to dry canal,turn right down the road either side of Geordie bar and you come to the hotel
