Faber Apartments

Going in August.Doe's anyone know how far they are from the centre and the beach.

Hello,

We have been going to Faber for the last three years and the appartments are great.
Not to big but everything in it that you need .
To the beach it is about 10-15 minutes depending on where you want to be at the beach and the centre about 5-10 minutes.
If there is anything more you want to know about Faber please ask !

We stayed here last year and I would suggest asking for a higher floor. We were on the bottom floor and the room was quite cold and dingy and smelt a bit musty although we went in May and it may have been they had just opened them up.

The pool area is lovely and lovely comfortable sunbeds, it takes about 5 minutes to walk through to Tansas, about 15 minutes to the beach maybe a bit less depending on which way you go.

Stayed in Faber in September last year - rooms were lovely & always clean. Bar Staff were also lovely.

BUT the maid used my make up!!!! I had just bought a new expensive foundation at the airport on my way out & only used it once.......on about the 3rd day of my hol, I found my make up bag open wiht my make up all out of place (normally have it all very neatly else the bag won't close!) and on closer inspection realised half my foundation had gone!!! I know for a fact it had been used as the sponge was used, and I only use a brush to put it on!! When we complained to management they said that as an apology we wouln't have to pay to have a late check-out on our rooms on our day of departure. However the management disappeared, on the last couple of days of our stay & the reception staff claimed to know nothing of this deal. We ended up paying for our late check out & I was half a bottle of make up down!

So ladies don't leave your make up hanging around!!! And I wouln't leave anything that you don't want ruined out of the safe or on show !!!

Shame I am moaning on this thread as everything else about the apartments was very good!
