It was nice to see some more stalls in the underground market this year. I honestly thought it was on the way out last year, but the sun always shines on Icmeler!!!!!!!!!! long may it last!

This was the underground Maket near the end of the season last year.
I also thought its days were numbered, but this year it seems again to have a new lease of life and Ann bought many things from the stalls in here,I also bought a watch because my other one finished up in the canal, but thats another story.

Our kids had some right bargains in the undergroung this year, they hated the Wednesday market. We used to have our evening meal then walk it off going to the underground. Me and my 12 year old daughter was in there one day and she was told 22 quid for a bench jacket...she turned round after about 10 minutes of haggling and said...I'll give you a tenner or else I'm walking out the shop. God I was embarrsed but fair play to her she got it for a tenner. :D Good quality stuff in there, I bought a few la coste shirts and diesel shoes.

Just one point missed, there are 2 parts of the undergroud market, the other part has stalls on both sides

I like the underground market too. A couple of years ago I got 6 pairs of sandals for a tenner. Bargain.
Gene don't tease we now need to know the story of the watch that ended up in the canal.
