Hi Mark,

Unfortunately there are no turkish baths near to the Club Sun Village, but there are plenty of Hotels that will offer you this service. A particularly good one I think is in the Mersoy Hotel. My husband always goes with one of the organised trips. I'm sure if you called in at the ICR office then they would be able to help you. There is a particularly good one in Armutalan, which is the village situated behind Marmaris. My husband always says to anybody enquiring about Icmeler, "you must never leave Icmeler having not had a turkish bath". He suffers with his back so this is brilliant for him.

Yes Mark the Club Sun Village is up in the Old Village. We also stay in the Old Village and we love it. It will only take you ten minutues to walk down to the main square and the bars/restaurants.

Hope this helps.

Have a lovely time. We will be in Icmeler from the 1st August to the 24th August - three weeks of sheer bliss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can highly recommend the one at Armutalan too - we went there in October and it was very good. If it's your first time, it's quite an experience - but definitely something everyone should do! Get it done at the start of your holiday though - the exfoliation means you'll lose your tan otherwise!

I have been to the turkish bath at the Mersoy, but I wouldn't recommend it and will be looking to go elsewhere this year. I attended with my 13yr old son and they made me feel very uncomfortable.

would also recommend the one in Armutalan, been to a few and its the best. They also run a pick up service free of charge.

As you are staying at club sun village you are not far from Grand Aquarium. They have a very good Turkish Bath in there, I am sure they will be only to happy to give you a Turkish Bath. They have male and femals staff, so no need to feel uncomfortable if you're a lady.

welshdoll, when we went to the one at Armutalan, there was myself, husband, 17-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son and none of us felt uncomfortable at any time.

The Turkish Bath at Armutalan also do a brilliant massage.

One lady in our party arrived with a headache, after being on a jeep safari all day and in the sun. The masseur recognised she had a headache, worked on specific parts of her neck and head, and got rid of it for her.

I think some of the tour operators will do the turkish bath at Armatulan, and maybe ICR will organise it if you ask nicely

Hello,

I have bad memory and a good memory about turkish bath.

Lets start with a bad one:

We went turkish bath first time, and it was "trip" by agency. There was really too much people, and we waited our turn almost half hour. My head already started turn because of the heat and i had to go outside. And those guys who working there, started feel quite bad as well, some of them left to drink water and so on. I got after wash allergy spots on my skin and it took long time to heal. So it was like a nightmare and we didnt go there again anymore.

Then good one:

I went again turkish bath 'cause of my husband. He made me in sure that it gonna be better. We went together in one hotel's "turkish bath" and no other people. That was nice! There was only me and my husband, it was relaxing and i really did enjoy. No allergy.

So i do regement you planing your turkish bath by yourselves, and you going there with your own group. With "trip agency" there might be too much people :? And you cant do relax when they wash you front of strange people!
