Evenings with kids

01 Jul 2008 07:25

I'm off to Icmeler in August and was wondering what to do during the evenings with my daughter (11) i.e. are the pubs etc.. child friendly past a certain time?

Every restaurant you go to will make a fuss of the kids. Mine are 10 and 12 and as already mentioned the staff normally get the kids (and adults :D ) up for a dance and a few games. My two were dancing on the tables and the bar!!... and my daughter is normally quite shy. Also I found the heat and being in the pool all day usually wore them out and by the evening they were quite happy to stick with us and join in the fun. As for time limits theres no restrictions for kids and you will find the bars and restaurants quieten down at midnight due to noise laws.

like the others have said, kids are welcome in all of the bars and all the better if they like dancing
if not, plenty of the bars will have free playstations for them - I think the havanna is one that does.
if your kids are anything like ours, they'll want to stay out well after you want to go back to the accom ha ha

Icmeler has spoilt us for anywhere else as far as family (or any other sort of) holidays, mostly down to the welcome and reception the kids get - no need for kids clubs in Icmeler

Exactly - children are made to feel so welcome everywhere you go. I must admit, when we went for the first time, it took a wee while for my son (then aged 12) to get used to being hugged by strangers, but he's fine with it now!

The crazy Golf course should be open by now opposite the Selen 2

Yes Sue, the crazy golf, bouncy castles etc near the the Selen 2 are indeed open - and stay open fairly late on as well.

ooh bouncy castles can't wait now until next year

that's us sorted then
we can drop the kids off at the Venice / korsan and then enjoy OURselves on the bouncy castles after a round of crazy golf
Icmeler rocks - yet again ha ha

Yes crazy golf and bouncy castles are open and once you pay you can keep going back all day. What a bargain!!!!

Kids are made very welcome in all bars and restaurants. Stella show can turn a bit adult but you can leave at any time if you think it is a bit too much for the kids. Take them to a turkish night its great fun. Belly dancers get you up to dance and entertainment is on all night. Lemon Tree was one place that we went for that and it was fantastic.
