Hi my dad is coming to icmeler with us for the first time next month and he is a bit worried that his passport has not got a scanned photo in like all of ours but it still has 10 months left i have told him it is ok! can you just let me know for sure??

Hi,
Our passports are like your dad's. We have been to Turkey 13 times with them, the last time being in May. Ours expire in April next year.
It is not a problem, it is still a valid passport, and he will not have any problems.

You need 6 months remaining at the end of passport on the date you travel home, for example, if you were coming home end of July, it needs to be valid until at least beginning of February

I was in my local post office yesterday and a lady took hers in and asked was it ok with the photo, just an idea if your passing one

our local PO gave me duff info which nearly cost #2 daughter her college holiday, so though I use their priority service for applying, am wary of the advice they give - some of them put their own slant on things!

But the passport people have a customer service number on their website and FAQs too, they should be able to tell you for sure - and put his mind at rest
