Dolmus

We normally like having a few drinks by the canal, normally Dreamboys, does the Dolmus pick up to go to Marmaris, where the cabs are at the top of the road? Also do you know times for these? I know the last one back from Marmaris to Icmeler is 1.30 going next Monday so would be great to know befoe hand thanks all xx

It picks up anywhere on the Main drag I know this but not sure at the taxi cab.

There aren't times as far as im aware, as they are every few mins, just a matter of stopping one heading in the MarMaris direction

The dolmus starts at Deniz Kapisi and goes up the the main road past Tansas. Dont know when the last one is.

Hi, If you want to get the dolmus back to Marmaris from the canal I think you can turn right at the end of the canal going away from the centre (opposite the taxi rank and Florida restaurant), then if you walk down to the big main road to marmaris, and just as you turn right again there is a bus shelter, I think the last bus is around 1 or 1.30am, but I wouldnt leave it later than 1 though just in case! hope that helps! have fun

Just like the buses over here, they have a sign in the front window telling you were they are going.

Hope this helps,
they travel along the main road and will stop anywhere you are if you stick your hand out. There are actual bus stops but they don't appear to count. When you want off just shout "stop please" and they will, quickly.
Last one back from Marmaris is at around 0100 and the Marmaris to Icmeler dolmus is white and orange in colour. The colour defines the destination. Oh and the fare is 1.75 Lira at present for any journey between Icmeler and Marmaris. I just got back on 25.05.08 hence the up to date info.
