Sunday Roast At The 3 Bells

Hi Rowdy,

The Three Bells is on the main road just along from Tansas. There is no need to pre-book for your sunday dinner, they do get busy but people go at all times of the day for them.

The food is great at the 3 bells, but I have never tried the sunday roast yet. I will be when I go back though

sunday roast is 2 die for i always have it cost bout 6 quid it takes some eating though best go on empty stomach goes down a treat with couple of pints of ice cold effes lovely

Yum Yum Yum. Oh Bec you are making us all so jealous. Three weeks to go and I will be tucking into one of those Yorkshire Puds too. As everybody says its to die for.

I totally agree Womble, nothing worse than great lumps of meat, I like mine sliced thinly and served rare (well on a roast anyway). I cannot be doing with a massive plateful either, it just puts me off..... I go for quality, not quantity. Apologies to those that could eat a 3 Bells roast.

Yorkshire Pudding looks a bit well done! but I think I will still try one.I like my meat sliced thin but plenty of it,lots of roasties and plenty of gravy,dont care for dessert after all that,better take a few clothes with elasticated waist !!!.

I agree if I wanted roast beef that thick I would order a steak,but you know what we say " You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Becs will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you've got to pre order unlike most other places (that don't even come close anyway ) and I also think they do the Sun lunches on other days too?

We had roast beef dinner at Florida this year, it was really good. Beef not too thick, loads of gravy, crunchy veg, roast tatties, mash tatties and a big yorkie - it was so good we went back the next week for more. Also got a free glass of wine with it and dessert was apple crumble with cream and ice cream. I'd recommend it. Going back in August so will try 3Bells for comparison.

We just walked in. It was gorgeous. I ate every last scrap aswell

This was on my to do list when we went in June.
We had a lovely Sunday roast there, and thoroughly enjoyed most of it, but couldnt just quite finish it all

We will definitely go back in October.

I just had to try the sunday roast last month after seeing the pics of it during the winter months.Now I make a good yorkshire pudd myself,well my verdict of the three bells,lovely meal,meat cut thick,but very tender,yorkshire pudding was the best Ive had anywhere else eating out,very tasty,certainly recommend it.
