Another question from Trixie.........sorry

Hi guys just wanted your advice on money...would you reccommend I take lira or traveller cheques or sterling.I am a nightmare when it comes to exchange rates and whether something is a bargain or not!!!!!....somone told me that its good if you pay in sterling...also do you think £350 is enough for one person going on a B&B basis .....dont want to be left short ......thanks guys you can tell its been a while since Ive been away!!!
