Building work at Marti Hotel?

Hi
We are booked to go to the Hotel Marti on 9th May and just received e-mail from holiday company saying that building work is going on in 90 bedrooms and they have had to close the indoor pool. Does anyone know how bad this is? I recon they have maybe just ran a bit behind for the season starting and the holiday company need to warn us but i dont want to be living on a building site for a week!

We were told that the renovation work at the Marti will be finished before the 1st May 2008
