Barrabar Marmaris

Hi
I've been in touch with Okan (Ozzy) who used to work in the Fess Bar. Last year he was in one of the watch shops but he said he's in Marmaris this year at the Barrabar Bar. Does anyone know the location for this as I went off line before he could give instructions.

Thats very useful info Marie, do you know if his brother Kaan is also going to be working there. We have been good friends with them both for a couple of years but have recently lost contact as think Ozzy has changed his email addy. Look forward to someone giving some directions to where there bar is in Marmaris.

Hi Dotty

Kaan will be working in the Travellers Rest this year. Haven't had any info back yer but will let you know if I do.. Like you we've known Okan. Kaan and their Mum and Dad for quite a few years (about 6/7 I think). We used to love going to the Fess Bar but haven't been since they moved.

Thanks for the info Marie, we'll be sure to visit the Travellers Rest when we go in June, haven't been in there before and being going to Icmeler for 6 years now. We also used to go into the Fess bar every night. We went in last year only because Kaan was there but it just wasn't the same, we only went in a few times. Tried looking on the net for Barrabar but no luck. It would be great if you could keep me updated with any further info but sure I'll be in touch with Kaan at some point soon. Dotty x

Barra Bar is on the front,by Salt and Pepper and Turtle Bar,not by the marina,further along the front.

Hi Marm

Have been to Marmaris 11 times but have never heard of barra bar

Do you think it could be Baran bar which is a big karaoke bar

on the beach front.

Just had an email from Kaan, he will be working in the watch shop opposite Efendi Hotel this year.

Was in Icmeler for last two weeks and met Kaan. He seems very happy there. His brother, Okan, is now working in Kusadasi. Can't wait to go back in September

Thanks for that Marie, its a pity Ozzy is so far away, but we will go and see Kaan when we go out on 7 June.
