Hi womble. The plugs are 2 pin and i think the voltage is 230 volts. Our appliances work fine there. All you need is the 2 pin to 3 pin travel adaptor.

Hi Womble
Make sure the 2 pin plugs are round pin which are european there is also a 2 pin flat pin plug which are used in the U.S.A.

Don't want to put a downer on your bargain plugs but we got some cheap ones last year and they overheated and started to melt. We plugged our phone charger into the wall using one of these plugs and we obviously had to leave it an hour or so to charge. The next thing, smell of burning plastic. Just make sure you watch them and don't go out leaving them unattended. God, i sound old.

OMG
thats very sound advise thankyou very much

plugs

Why don't you take an extention lead with just 1 plug then you can plug all your appliances in the normal way as home we always do. Cheers

Yes, I agree with Truth. We always take an extension lead and I wouldn't be without it now. Great for evening when everyone's in a rush to get ready, one can use the hairdryer while the other can use the straightners - and we can have the fan on at the same time!!! :)

great idea about the extension lead
