Hi,
Joined today – we bought a new apartment in 2006 it’s through the old town on the way to the Julian Forest Hotel. We are hoping to move out permanently in the next few years, but visiting three times a year at the moment.
We have just spent Christmas there and will be returning in April.

Christmas

Hi
We have been to Icmeler at Christmas for the last 2 years and been extremely fortunate with the weather as both occasions it as been around 20o during the day but very cold at night. We were able to walk around with tee shirts although the locals thought we were mad and they were wearing bubble coats.
My friend and his wife came out with us this year and he actually went scuba diving and said the water was quite warm.
There is very little open in Icmeler but the centre of Marmaris is almost the same as summer.
We have had Christmas lunch for the last 2 years sat outside on the balcony of the Pineapple restaurant in the Marmaris Netsel Marina.
Its great for walking at this time of the year and the place is empty.

Hi Jack & Sylvia

We were just wondering how you got to Icmeler at Christmas, are there flights available direct to Dalaman or do you have to fly to Izmir?

How long do you stay is it for all of winter?

Dalaman has been open through the winter for International flights from the UK for a few years now.

As more and more people buy properties out there, there will be more flights for all.
