Marrying in Turkey. Is it possible ?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to legally marry in Turkey :?:

Initially we planned to hire a gullet for the day and do it when we were there in May, as friends and family are coming with us.

We were then told by different people it would be too awkward. That we would need to have certain blood tests whist in Turkey, and that you were not allowed to marry at sea when in Turkey, and basically there were too may negative points to doing it that way. :cry:

Now after seeing the posting named “blessings in icmeler” by sjgarbett, I am wondering if it may be possible after all.

Any advice or information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
