Hi people,
can anyone tell me if lighters are still being confiscated at security in Glasgow airport? Mine was wheeched off me last year and when I got to Bodrum airport they tried to charge me a fiver for one in the only shop that was open, no chance lassie
As a wee afterthought, is there anywhere in departures at GLA to get a puff?

My mum managed to take her lighter through customs - although also took safety matches with her too (got them from the newsagents at home) just incase they whipped her lighter too!
Unfortunately there is nowhere after you check-in and go to departures to have a smoke, only place is outside
Have a lovely holiday
4wks till we have efes time (well peach schnapps for me

We went through the airport about a fortnight ago & you are allowed lighters, but only 1. Anymore than that & you have to put it in a large clear bin before you get into departures.

at dalaman airport there is a stall beside the visa desk. they were selling lighters there for a lira or two.have a nice holiday.
