September Evenings

Hiya,

I was just wondering how warm/cool it is of an evening in September? Will I need a cardi and do the mozzies bite bad?

Hi Gill

I would say no to cardi at beginning of Sept but nearer the end Sept it can get a bit chilly and I would take one just in case.

I've never found mossies bad but I always wear my Avon SSS in the evenings just in case.

Icmeler council have mossie men who come round early mornng and spray the town to kill the mossies off.

We're used to going to Greece around October and it does get chilly at night. Last time I got bitten a few times - I hate mozzies.

I was there last year for the first two weeks of September and it was boiling every single night! If your going the beginning of September NO CARDI NEEDED!!

you will be there when we arrive going to Turkey on the 14th but wont be in Icmeler until the 21st.

Hi Lynn,

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say where I'm staying as my last thread got locked but it's Hotel Eskenoy.

We've never been to Turkey before but I'm glad I've found this site, I can honestly say I've not read anything bad about Icmeler. Our other holidays are ususally to a really quiet Greek Island with limited tourism so this should be a bit more lively.

Everyone who speaks to each other on this site all sound like old friends.

I dont think there's a problem telling me where you are staying as long as we dont keep discussing it which is only fair as ICR are an independent Travel Co and would'nt be fair to advertise hotels they dont use.

We are staying at the Devamli in Sept which is at the top of the Canal.

We used to go to Greece but lately have just been comming back to Icmeler.

Have a nice holiday you never know we might bump into each other always in the Sports Bar for our last tipple of the evening.
