boat trips with a 3 year old

Hi,

I was looking at the ICR list of good stuff to do and wondered what your thoughts were on taking our little boy (who is 3 the day after we get back... bless!! ha ha) on the boat trip... whether it be the full day or the half day, and also does it have rails?? silly questions i know, but i'd hate to get on the boat and to be constantly worried he might fall off!!!!

First time to Icmeler on thursday! Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(oh and new to this forum, and have to say it is the most fantastically helpful thing ever! i feel like i've been already, after reading all the excellent posts!!!! really really helpful!!!!)

sure you will love it !boats do have rails.. think was kind of mesh as well from what i remeber.we went 10 and got back 5 lots of swimming stops and lunch but got off at turunc for hour or so mid afternoon

ah that sounds great! not too much of a long day then! especially with all the stops!!! is the food included? but not the drinks? is that right??? i like top be fully prepared when travelling with the little one!!! did you see any small children on there??

there are hundreds to choose from half and full days mabe half day would suit as it gets very hot on the boats the best bet is go with ICR then you are assured of the quality of the trip pop into the office in resort and check out your options i like the quite boats with loads of room shelter a full day it to much for me. my wife went herself last year and came back from the boat trip drained and like a prunne so the same story loads of water, loads of sun block and dont get a skin full the night before !!!

Def. recommend the boat trips we have a little girl with special needs who can be hard work but she loved the boat trip and is already talking about the boat trip this year

We went on a boat trip last year with my little cousin who was three at the time. He loved going into the sea when the boat stopped with his little life jacket on and whilst the boat was moving he sat downstairs in the shade with some crayons and paper drawing pictures. I'm sure your little one will be fine
