help!

Going to Icmeler 3rd May and got choice of Galeria & Mersoy (both AI) or Efendi B&B. Not stayed in any of these before. They all have such varied views...

Can anyone help me with my choice?? Just looking for something cheap, cheerful and clean. We would probably only take advantage of the free booze as its so good to eat out so is AI really worth it?

Where is the Efendi - I just cant picture it?

Efendi is the next one down to the Prince bar on the way to the beach.

I would opt for the Mersoy

I have friends who stayed at the Efendi last year and were most satisfied. they only problem they had was that they chose to eat out elesewhere and the staff in the restaurant were really rude to them. Other than that they thought it was good for the money paid and a good spot near to the beach.

Thanks! I have read about people having to sneak out of side doors to escape being dragged in to their bar etc.

Still dont know what to do. Would be great to hear from anyone whos stayed in Mersoy or Galeria. I think they are both about the same distance from beach.

With all the great places to eat in Icmeler I wouldnt go all inclusive. My choice would be Efendi, we stayed there a few years ago and had a great holiday.

we stayed at the efendi about 4 or 5 years ago and had a great hoilday to, though we did eat lunch there most days. You do also get a 10% discount in their resturant and the food is very good, we ate out most nights and never had any problem with the staff, maybe just have your 1st meal there and that will keep them happy.

Wouldn't recommend the mersoy as you may end up in the annexe block at the back , which are not very nice. Personally out of the three i would go for the effendi.

Hi Julia i stayed at the Mersoy in Sept 2005 we had a great time. The rooms are basic but clean, the pool was very clean too.
We only stayed bed and breakfast as we like to try different places. The guys who work in the restaurant at the front entrance are fabulous Muzzy and Fonzy (still there last Sept) they make you very welcome and soon became good friends who we still see when we on holiday

The Mersoy exclusive has a lovely indoor pool and gym, turkish baths etc which you can use (pool is free) but wonderful for a Turkish Bath and massage

We stay at the Elif now only because i like where it is situated. Hope this info helps
