Cafe Del Mar

Hi - can anyone update me on this bar - I really hope this has no been demolished as its a lovely peaceful bar.. great to sit and enjoy a cool effes... ?

Apparently all five beach cafe bars received letters around July from the council threatening closure at the end of last season but they were talking about appealing against the closures. The problem is supposed to be the kitchen facilities & all were to be inspected. Can't speak for the rest but there was talk that Del Mar might continue but for drinks & snacks but not meals but like everything else down to the Mayor it is a case of waiting & seeing.

It was open for the full length of our holiday - probably called in 5 or 6 times during our 11 days !
