blood test

Hi all
Well we are coming back to good old Icmeler well I now have a question last week I was diagnosed with a irregular heart beat an now I am on warfarin tablets to keep my blood thin is there anywhere in Icmeler that does the blood test to check the INR level so I can keep a check on what tablets I need to take I am asking this as I am a new patient and started the tabs on the 11/07/2014 at the moment I am not where they want me to be hopefully this week i will get to some level if not can I get it checked in Icmeler thanks Dave and Yvonne cant wait only 1 week to go yipppie

Also make sure you inform your insurance company, I know the difficulty of getting your INR correct, my father was on the same medication for years.

thanks dave iv already told insurance company just need to know if I can get it checked and how much it will cost

Dr Murat will definitely provide this service as I remember him doing it daily for a Dutch guest of ours a few years ago

I take it that the doc is in the medical center just up from the Istambull rest bar and can you please tell me how much he will charge for this service

Dr Murat is at the Medline clinic, which is just across the road from Tansas.

My husband was on Warfarin and his INR was stable so he did not need to go to have it checked, however, he does not normally take alcohol but occasionally had a coffee and brandy and when he went home his INR readings were not good. Don't know if you take alcohol and don't want to be a party pooper Dave but just a friendly word of caution for a newbie on this medication. Hope you get Dr Murat to do the tests and it remains stable throughout your holiday.
