Turkish lira rate at Tesco

I couldn't believe my luck when I walked into my local Tesco, and as you do , you check the foreign currency bureau.Todays rate for Turkish lira was 3.3675. Just had to flash the plastic at that rate.

I uderstand that there are Turkish elections this year and this cause the lira to either fall or rise. Does anyone know when the elections are

The local elections in March, presidential in July and the parliamentary elections will be held in June 2015. I read this last September but don't know if they've been changed since then.

Just got 3.39 at local tesco this morning

It's 3.4725 at travelfx. I would have exchanged at this brilliant rate if I hadn't changed so much already.

This morning in St.Helens we got 1,000 Lira for £290-95P it was 3.4370,we did not get the Lira today because they had run out of money,there where plenty of people queing up thats why they ran out,we pick it up after Wednesday,if it keeps going up i will keep going back,the place was called Eurochange.

Bought some more Lira today at Eurochange in St.Helens and got 1,000 Lira for £283.85 it was 3.5230,last week it was 1,000 Lira for £290.95 and it was 3.4370.

Like Joseph picked up lira from eurochange st.helens rate 346 will get some more this rate and hope prices in icmeler dont go up
