19 Oct 2013 10:14

The forum is very quiet ! Has everyone gone into hibernation now the holiday season is finished ?

I suppose it's only natural for things to quieten down at the end of the season - we will just have to think up some topics to keep us going until everything starts back up again!

We can talk about holidays past and future, that'll keep us going till next season. Though would be nice to see some new topics on here for the new year. :D

Hi,
We are coming back on 26th October for a week, keep looking at still sunny skies on the webcam :D , hope it stays that way, the forecast is looking good, just hope all those pesky wasps have died

I wish you could get weekend flights i.e. if Icmeler were a little nearer, I'd love to get out there before Xmas to see what its like as it all closes down. Oh well, gotta wait till next year now, just got to decide which months of the year I will choose. :D

Hardly any wasps and bees when we were there all of September this year, last year was horrendous with them saying that,I took 2 steps out of the pool and got my first ever bee sting lol.

The flies are being a pain at the moment, they obviously like the slightly cooler weather and seem to be everywhere. Icmeler itself is now in hibernation, with even the ICR resort office now sleeping for the winter. :)

I know where they were in september, my back garden

Someone a while back mentioned a waspinator which sounds like a good idea to deter them. You could hang it from the umbrella when on your sunbed
