We always feel better after having booked the following years holiday. We have been booked for a while for 2014, staying at Prestij apartments in August for 3 weeks plus
transfer through ICR, flights with Thomas Cook.

We were waiting for easyjet flights for the inbound journey for july as we had already booked the outbound with Thomas Cook, but their inbound flight prices had increased a lot. Yesterday the TC flight price came down so next year's holiday is booked, 23 days in July ..... better get started on my holiday list lol

With booking ours early ours works out £58 cheaper than if we had left it till now to book

seems that way these days with booking early. remembering mega cheap late deals just to fill the plane up, perhaps there are some still around, but if you to stay at certain places you have to book as soon as.

When our flights were first released the inbound flight was too high so we booked the outbound flights only. We checked every day as we thought that if others thought the same as us, they would have to bring the prices down. It was worth the gamble, last friday we booked at £50 less than the original price for the two of us. We had forgotten to check on thursday so we were lucky. Today the price has gone up by £24 but it is still less than when they were first released. Haven't seen this happen before but we took a gamble and it paid off. At the price we paid it wasn't worth waiting for easyjet to release their july flights

Also doubly pleased as we've changed money for next year as the rate is so high.

I am sure you will have a fantastic holiday, dundeejohn - the Alvaro are in a good central location and attract many repeat customers, and I'm sure you will see why so many of us return to
Icmeler year after year.

We found if we booked for 21 days as we was going to it was more expensive than booking for 22 days so we fly out Friday 15th August and come back Sat 6th September. Flights were £564 for the two of us.

We did the same, booking flights for 23 days is less than 21, doesn't matter that we have to pay two days extra accommodation. The extra days at the end always feel like a bonus

Us too, flying with Monarch again, 26kg each hold luggage and 10kg each in the cabin...it made sense to use all that luggage allowance to spend the whole of June over there didn't it! Roll on 2014 !!
