Passport requirements

Hi all,
We're off to Turkey on the 8th - 23rd Aug (2013) and 2 of our passports run out on 26th Feb (2014) - i've worked this out at 6 month and 3 days left on the passport before it expires.

Is this going to be OK with passport control in Turkey?

Hi John, you wil be ok. Your passport must have 6 months on it before it expires. I am sure this is pretty standard through the world. If you decide to buy a new passport, the 6 months 3 days will be added to the new passport, of course.

therre was a post about this a few weeks ago, i put a link up to a turkish website. Its says you need 6 valid months when leaving uk and 3 valid months when returning to the uk. if i find the post i will put it up
