Newcastle flights

For any-one interested, JET-2 return flights from NEWCASTLE. Price on today s website for May this year is showing at £316-00.

Why are flights from east coast more expensive than west coast. I could go from Glasgow for about £80 cheaper than edinburgh....why? Last year my son and family went from Manchester and saved over £500 for 4 of them....just doesn't make sense to me

...and apart from that..is it not a shorter distance to fly to Turkey from east coast than west coast??
