POLL OF THE WEEKEND - HEALTH & BEAUTY

15 Sep 2012 08:12

Which of the following cosmetic surgeries would you consider getting if it was available at a highly accredited clinic at a good price as part of your holiday in Turkey?

With all due respect you have not got a "None" option. I wouldn't consider getting any procedures of that nature in another Country, apart from the fact that IF anything went wrong I would want to be in my home land (any surgery at all has risk) goodness knows what the cost of Travel insurance would be.

There is no need for a "none" option as people who would not consider such surgeries at all or in Turkey do not need to vote and can move to a different topic ;)

The insurance for cosmetic surgeries run between £250 to £270 depending on the duration of the stay for the surgery (quote of a UK medical insurance company) so its not so expensive considering the amount of money these surgeries cost in the UK compared to those in Turkey.
I think this may be the reason why there is a very high demand in cosmetic surgeries in Turkey at the moment esspecially from the UK.

Pros and cons of such surgeries are always open to debate however the only goal of this particular poll is to find out which surgeries those interested parties would go for if it was offered to them as a part of their holiday.

something i would really be interested in would be some kind of boot camp. they run them in spain successfully but quite expensive and I dont particularly want to go to spain. you get people asking for gym access from time to time on forums so maybe there would be a market. i imagine the difficulty comes from not being able to employ people from outside turkey so the language barrier may be a problem. something like British Military Fitness here in the uk would be great for a week. There are such things as fitness tourists. . it would have to be may/june sept/oct due to the heat. I have only been able to find cycling the lycian way with kaunos tours which i will be doing. failing that... cosmetic surgery !!
