Kokorec butty

For those wanting to try a Turkish Delicacy try the Kokorec served on fresh Turkish bread with the option of a mixed salad.
The video shows the preparation of the cooked Kokorec before serving to the customers.

Kokorec are lambs intestines so if you dont fancy these try Harry Rams for some lovely Fish and Chips with lashings of vinegar.

In all the years I have been going to Icmeler I have never found a place serving this dish, maybe you may be the lucky one.

I've seen stalls selling kokorec on the journey to Icmeler, but not in the resort itself. Not my cup of tea, thanks...

Tried Kokorec & for me it was terrible both in taste & texture, however the cat enjoyed it, even with the spices!!

Gene, I love my haggis and black pudding too - but something about kokorec just doesn't really appeal to me, sorry. I'm sure Ian would be happy to give it a try though!

One thing I will always avoid due to the possibility of scrapie being present, I know there are only a few cases of infection in Humans but thats enough for me.
