Hi have just read on another site that the blue rainbow and casa and blanca have been bought and are going to be rebuilt as a 5 star hotel when the season ends, any info on this as i have just booked for next year hope its not true, ,

I noticed on Thomson's website that they have a new 5* Platinum hotel in Icmeler next year but couldn't fathom out where it is going to be. I wondered if it was the hotel between Icmeler and Turunc which has not been finished yet and is clearly visible when on the taxi boat or perhaps it is the one that the last post refers to. Does anyone have any info. on this pleae?

No to the first 2 questions and definitely know to the 3rd as the hotel has been there that long the concrete is crumbling away

I believe they are doing a deal with the Marti La Perla next year so could be that but then they also took the Munamar Beach and Residence this year and stopped all other agencies selling but have now give up as they couldn't fill it and now its open season there

I just checked out the artist impressions and it is the new hotel that is being built in the trees just past the Can cafe area and just before the Marmaris Palace

Looking at thomsons brochure for next year the map shows it to be near club turban/casa mare area.....but then their maps are never accurate,glad to hear the Rainbow is safe,but it does need tidying up. .Rog.
