Is there any females who are not reading the E L James trilogy at the moment? We used to count the readers of these books by the pool, at one time , there was 11 women reading the hardback copy of the book, 3 unconfirmed kindle readers and 1 confirmed kindle reader

First book in the trilogy is "Fifty Shades Of Grey".

Has been haiked as the best selling books of the year!!
Second book is Fifty Shades Darker and the last one is called Fifty Shades Freed.
Not something I would want my teenager reading over my shoulder

and indeed it isn't particularly well written(but somehow I doubt anyone will be taking much notice of that!! )

.
Have you read any of the books Sanybeach?
Haha Johnjill don't think you will find anything that fits the bill

Was reading mine on an ereader on the plane, the woman opposite was taking far too much of an interest so I switched to "confessions of a gp"!!

I've read the trilogy now, and have just started reading fifty shades of beige, it's a micky take of the grey trilogy, not sure if it's just plain daft though.
Would be very interested to get some post-grey recommendations as I'm feeling pretty bereft just now! I've cast the flim version, just need hollywood to listen - Ian Somerhalder for Christian!

I have read the first book and will read no more.....ever! I found it wooden and repetative, badly written and the sexy parts were to me errr- not sexy! Not everyones cup of tea and it wouldn't do for us all to like the same things. Give me a really good page turning thriller any day. I have enjoyed other types of books but not that one.

Hi there.
Can anyone recommend a similar read for my wife, as she has read this trilogy already?
She has that lost look, that can only be described as the kind of feeling id feel if i arrived in
Icmeler and the resort had sold out of Efes.
Any books along the line of the Grey books would be great.
All the best

Lady Chatterleys Lover?

Tell her to check out the Black Lace series of books...

With the publicity and hype that this trilogy has recently accumulated in the press I think I'll need to teach herself to read

Black Lace, sounds familiar, what's that about again? - author?

Thanks for suggestions.
I have loaded Lady Chatterley's Lover on the Kindle for the wife.
The Black Lace books seem to be a series of books written by lots of different authors. I looked on Amazon and there were loads of them.

It's not one book by one particular author - it's a publisher of books along similar lines. Think they may have stopped publishing new ones, but you can certainly still buy them widely on Amazon, eBay, etc.
And nothing to do with Agadoo!
