My friend who is out in turkey has just reported on Facebook of another earthquake!
Let's hope and pray nobody has been hurt.
They do seem to happening a lot though, is this because of the weather?

Cant say I am happy about the eathquakes but have to say there have not been many holidays in the last twelve years that we have not had at least one but as long as they get no worse not too worry, this is part of Turkey and where they are situated. One thing for sure will be back in September for another three weeks, well worth the risk.

totally agree, 1st time we went we had quite a large earthquaqke in July but it didn't stop us going on a boat trip that evening and returning to
icmeler in august and september! We spoke to one of our turkish friends about it and he said not to worry the hotels can stand up to earthquakes as they are built on sand!!! not sure whether he was being reassuring or taking the mick, he does have a very dry sense of humour.

hi we was there that day and my daughter who was in the appartment said she felt it but we were out walking and didn't feel anything

Yes i felt it when i was there but just thought it was one of the waiters shaking my sunbed as a joke, did not realise what it was till i looked around the pool and noticed several other people also looking to discover what had caused there sunbed to shake.

That's a 6.1 and a 5.3, I just pray that it's not simmering up to a really big one as these two are quite big enough.

I thought it was my mother in law shaking my sunbed until i saw her in the pool. Lasted about 6 seconds. She didnt feel anything in the pool, my husband was in our 2nd floor room & felt it much more.

was there on 25th June - and did not hear about the earthquake?
Unless it was the slight rumble that sounded like thunder at around 4pm on 25th?
