Exchange rates £ end of season

Exchange rates £ end of season ?? going on 15 September 2012 and wondering if I should hold out for a better exhange rate nearer the end on the season or go for the current rate

Well the way the rate has been this year, unless you are changing a really lot of money then I don't think it will make a difference

Do it this way

At the moment because it is the weekend the rate has dropped to 2.82 as the banks were closed and normally 2.85.

If this did drop slightly (or even go up) then it may work out this way

If there are 2 of you coming for a 14 day break with a £1,000 then 2.85 would get you 2,850 Lira

If it dropped to 2.75 then which it hasn't been for along while then you would get 2,750 Lira

100 Lira difference divided by 14 days divided by 2 people back to Sterling is just short of £1.30 per person per day

Ok it is a beer I suppose but this is on a £1,000 and if it is less than that then not much really so nothing really to worry about
