Beach towels

Hi everyone,

I am an Iclemer first timer and will be coming over in 5 weeks and so excited. However, i am limited to 15kg for luggage. Is there shops to buy cheap beach towels when we arrive ?

Hi Sarah, you'll have no problem buying beach towels in Icmeler. Almost every 2nd shop sells them and they are cheap enough. We buy new towels every trip as we too are 15kg. We now have a huge selection of Gucci, Prada and other designer towels in our airing cupboard

If you're concerned about the 15 kg you could invest in a Rufus Roo travel jacket. Have a look at

It seems a great idea especially as you only need to wear it as you check in your luggage and when you board the plane. The rest of the time you wear it over your shoulder just like a bag. It seems to be good for items that are large but don't weigh very much, such as the towels. One pocket is so big you could even put a laptop in it. Brilliant idea which will work until they start to weigh us with our luggage

should be no problem atall, i remember forgettin my towel when i went the beach and one of the locals got me one from the nearest shop while i relaxed on the beach
