Senem Apartments

29 May 2012 22:24

Staying at these apartments for the first time this year. Can anyone advise if they have books available there - don't want to take up extra luggage space with heaps of books if we can help it. :D
Also, are there plenty of coathangers in the apartments, or should we take a few with us?

There is a bookshelf in the restaurant with plenty of books.
Some of the restaurants have books you can exchange.
There were plenty of coat hangers but I always take a couple of the type with the 2 clips on as they are handy for hanging tee shirts by the hem.I usually put 3 on each hanger.
Great apartments in a stunning position in the village.

Thanks Jay Trip. We are really looking forward to staying at the Senem - all the reviews point to it being really good accommodation. And hopefully I'll be able to read a few books this time - last year I only managed to read 26 pages as I kept nodding off after a couple of pages what with the heat and all!!

we are at Senem at the moment and there ıs a lımıted slection of books avaılable although ıt ıs stıll early ın the season. More people are using kindles so maybe less books wıll be left. Plenty hangers in our apartment this year but İ would suggest you brıng trouser hangers if needed. There is a new chef who ıs very good and menu is much bigger and better. Staff are greatand İ am sure you will have a good holiday. Hope this info helps.

Hi Feebs1969
I am now home and able to respond to your query. As Bankielass said the cost of aircon and safe is £35 per week and late check out is £10 until 5p.m., although it does say on notice board it is until 6p.m. but we had cleaner knocking out door at 4.45. Air con is only in bedroom area and does not work when you are out of the apartment as the key also controls the electricity but some people found a way round this! Hope this info helps and if you want to ask me anything please don't hesitate. Hope you have a great time.

Hi feebs1969.
I think you will find it OK being out apartment at 5 and being picked up at 8 as this gives you time to have a meal before you go and the food at Senem is much better this year. The cost of food and drinks in Dalaman is excessive. A bottle of water is 4.50lira and coke is 8.50lira. A couple we met there paid £11 and £12 each for a McDonald's and a KFC, so my advice is eat before you go and unfortunately there is not much you can do about the drinks. I am sure you will have a great time at Senem - we love it. As you say we are not too far from Johnstone.
