'Fast Fix' for me everytime. The rings I have had made here are fantastic. Just behind the Tandoori Sizzler, and behind the ICR office. Will make anything for you.

We only buy from Tony's Jewellery, or there is Sonnen Jewellers (next door to Tony's) opposite the L'etoile Hotel (near the beach). They are very genuine guys

If you see a design you like in the UK, take details/photo with you when you go on holiday and jewellers will make it you for a lot less than UK, or take your own design. We have our favourite, Ruby Jewellery on the top road which we first visited on recomendation of friends several years ago, I purchased a new engagement ring to celebrate 25th wedding, Mustapha the owner advised me to get it valued when we got home and said it would be worth 2-3 times what I paid, I did and it was, we have been back several times over the years and always had good service and value for money , he saw that my gold wedding band was tight on my finger and offered to enlarge it and had to cut it off, a few days later when my finger had gone back to as near normal as it would it was measured and the next day I returned to collect the ring, perfect fit and no charge, a thank you from him for our custom. We dont just go to his shop when we want buy but to visit as well and if it is just a visit there is no pressure at all from him.
I am sure others offer a similar service but can only comment on our experience.
Shop- if you walk up from the new town square to the dolmus rd then turn right location a few hundred yards down on the right

We tried a few different jewellers when we first holidayed in Içmeler but we found that Firuze was the best. We've had a number of items made for us which we were delighted with. You're guaranteed a warm welcome with Murat and Sona and nothing will be too much trouble.

They're easy to find and are marked on the 'around içmeler map' on

Hi Where are you guys getting your jewellery valued in england? I have took mine in shops before now and they have refused to value as they aren't stamped.

Don't know if I was given a good price or ripped off but I bought a white gold wedding band approx 6mm wide and was charged £180 - don't know if that's a good price or not???? I bought it from a shop I think was called Arica. It was near the green car.

You can have your jewellery valued at most jewellers. I rang around all jewellers in our area to find out what they charged and they varied a great deal. Some used a percentage of what the item would be valued at whilst others had a flat rate of £15 upwards. Make sure though when you have it valued you ask for a certificate for insurance purposes otherwise they won't be covered.

Our jewellery has always been valued between 2-3 times what we paid except for one item. My husband bought a ring years ago from a jeweller in Içmeler but it was valued at the price we paid. We wouldn't have minded if the jeweller had been honest but he told us that the ring was worth a lot more.

We always have our jewellery valued as the 'Guarantee Certificate' is not accepted for insurance purposes. It's surprising how much your jewellery is worth, especially if you've been going to Içmeler for years :)

We bought a watch a few years ago and my husband needed a few links taken out but we didn't realise at the time that the hallmark was on the links that were removed. It was no problem having it valued, it just says on the certificate that it's gold and that there's no hallmark. We could have a hallmark put on it I suppose but then we'd have to pay for another valuation which seems pointless.
