Sidiks family restaurant

Just back from another 2 fabulous weeks and had many a good meal in various bars and restaurants, however I feel special praise must be given to Sidiks family restaurant in the old town. We ate there 4 times during our stay sampling something different each visit. The food and service was of the highest quality everytime and would recommend a visit to all that visit the area.

I had a meal at Sidik's last week and it was lovely. The restaurant had a lovely friendly atmosphere and staff very good and attentive. The only disappointment for me was that I wanted Sea Bream and it had to be ordered the day before, however, the fact that they only wanted to serve fresh fish rather than frozen fish is to their credit. I will know the next time to order in advance and I will certainly be visiting again.

I totally agree with what has been said about this little gem of a restaurant. The food and welcome here is absolutely second to none. Sidik and his family are beautiful people and we think the world of them. We cannot wait to visit next year. I am so glad that their move from the old restaurant has been successful, as these are a hard working family and they deserve to be successful. Congratulations Sidik!!!!!

we too discovered this restaurant for the first time this year.

We ordered the slow roast leg of lamb in the morning and when it arrived you didnt need a knife it was that tender.

The owners were so friendly and my daughters had a wonderful time playing with the two young girls who are part of the family despite the language barrier!!

Cant wait for next year

Am totally kicking myself now for staying 3 weeks in August in the next street, but not managing to pay a visit
You know how it is............kept putting it off esp as daughter either wanted to just have a Pizza Tomato night or venture into town
Next year, am determined to make it there!!!

Fanny, You will certainly not be disappointed and put it on the "to do" list for next time. Every time we go we promise to visit certain places and always come home having missed out some of them. There is so much to do and no matter how long you go for it is never long enough. Roll on the next time

This is a fantastic family restaurant .they are so friendly visited twice in September . The garlic mushroom starter was delicious.Will definetly be first on my list of restaurants to visit next year when we come to icmeler.

Having known Sidik and Erdal for quite a few years from going to the Efes Inn and having praised them for years on this site I have to say that this years holiday was made even more special to me and my family than ever before .Not only does the restaurant serve the best steaks in town of an evening but during my walks up to the village and taking some light refreshment at Sidiks during daylight hours they serve a healthy dose of friendliness and total honesty and chilled out hospitality that you just cant get anywhere else .
During my refreshment breaks at Sidiks I was offered a place at their table to eat with them on their lunch breaks and duly obliged to find myself totally amazed at the way that I felt almost a part of their family as all of the men sat around a table and ate the most wonderful food that you would not often see on menus at other restaurants as it is what the locals eat I have to say that they would not accept any money for the food served and that was on more than one occasion .
My family and I have had many celebrations with Sidik from wedding anniversaries to the girls birthday parties and we have felt that Sidik and his lovely family will always go that extra mile and do that extra special thing for us which makes us feel that little bit special .
When you are a long way from home that little bit of personal service works for me everytime and keeps my family just aching to go and see them all asap .

So pleased to see that you went to see Sidik and his family. Like you, I have known him and the family for many years. Although I have not been able to visit as you know, I am now in a position to visit in 2012. I shall be on my own so I will look forward to seeing some friendly faces. I had a txt from Erdal only last week.
Do you know if Sidik will be there in 2012?

Totally agree with everything said about this Restaurant and the Family...It was my first visit to Icmeler last year but was with my sisters and their partners...they had been to this restaurant before and reccommended it.
We were all made to feel so very welcome and the food was excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere.

We ate there twice...but whenever we passed..they always said hello and chatted...no hassle to go inside, just asked how we were etc...

Going back in June and will definitely be paying a visit to Sidiks...
