hiya every one,
dose any one know when you are changing travlers cheques are you charged bye the amount of money that you change or by transaction???
plezz help this is all very confuseing , thanks.xx

Change at the banks and last year they charged per cheque, change at most exchange shops you will pay a commission on the total amount, change at little supermarkets and no charge, you get the exchange rate they quote same as cash.

Same as above, if you change in the little supermarkets you won't be charged anything, don't forget you were charged in the first place this end, in uk.

The charge is normally 1%, but if you have advantage gold (natwest) or similar there is no charge.

If you have a Lloyds TSB account and order on line from them they are commission free.

Post office charge 1% up to a maximum of £50.00. Regardless what the comission is you get charged somewhere along the line whether on your card in the first place or front up. You get nowt for nowt.

I received a voucher when I booked with first choice which entitles me to 0% commission on travellers cheques

Most places charge 1.5% but M&S charge 1%

I got mine through my bank RBS no commison last year we used the
hotel I think it was 1lira per cheque but don't quote me on this
