I love to go to AMOS for lunch right on the beachfront and have a lazy couple of hours afterwards under the trees. Magic.

There's lots of boat trips you can book from along the beach, and they are much cheaper than the reps.

06 Aug 2006 17:08

I've booked hols and transfers with Icmeleronline and their prices are good - certainly in line with elsewhere in the resort and much cheaper than your holrep will quote.
We've never booked a boat trip with them but only cos we have friends with a restaurant who do boat trips too!

Am sure Icmeleronline's boat trips will be competitive. Better still, they won't try and pressure you into buying tickets for something you don't want!!!

We were in Icmeler last week and went on a boat trip booked with Icmeler on line. It was quite a large boat (suits my son as he gets seasick on small boats) with about 50 sunbeds on the top deck and plenty of room downstairs for shade. We booked all inclusive, which included lunch and all you local drinks for £10. I would advise people to do A/I as its only £4 extra and when the weather is so hot you need to keep up you fluid intake. My only disapointment was that it did say equipment for fishing and snorkelling available and they had none. So if you wanted to do this then I would check it will be available. Well worth the money and would do again. Di. :)

That trip sounds fab Di - were there enough sunbeds for everyone?
I love lying there soaking up the rays , but hate having to get there at the crack of dawn (well OK, 9.00) to get a sunbed upstairs.

Will have to look into booking that when we go in Sept - how much is it (if it's OK to mention that John??)

07 Aug 2006 15:07

Yes there were plenty of sunbeds for everyone but we were picked up at 9.00 on the dot and were only the 3rd family on the boat so had a choice of where to sit. It costs £10 which inluded lunch and pop/water/beer ect. We got on the boat in Marmaris but were dropped off in Icmeler on the way back. Well worth it. Di. :)

Thanks Di

We'll definitely give that one a try, sounds much better value than paying for the trip and then drinks on top

What days is it on please?
ANd did you book it via the office or website?

07 Aug 2006 19:16

As far as I am aware it runs everyday and I booked via the office with Tracey. And yes, you are right, it is better than paying for your drinks especially if you have children as they can drink as much pop/water as they like without you worrying how much its going to cost you at the end of the day. Thanks again Di
We'll defo give that one a go - the kids drinks are what cost us a fortune as they are often dearer than ours!!

boat trip

07 Aug 2006 23:41

thanks for that folk think i'll be visiting icmeleronline were are they in icmeler thanks

08 Aug 2006 06:02

I do also run an exclusive trip for £15 and normally we take a maximum of 30 people with 40+ sunbeds on top so you have plenty of room.

This is normaally open to our guests only and is well sought after.

If you're stood with your back to the sea in the ATM square, they are on the left down a paved side road - turn left off the ATM square when you get to the Chill Bar and they are next to it.........or better still, order a beer and see if John's in there

Having been on loads of boat trips i would say that they are all pretty much the same. Great day out and great value for money.
However on this years trip we were ripped of on a couple of occasions,
Firstly the nice lady who owned the boat came around offering home made cake with her complimants, only to be charged £2 per slice when we settled the drinks bill.
Also if you ever stop at kumbuluke or something like that please never buy a drink from the only bar in the resort, from that low life owner who charges a fortune for his drinks.
