Where is the funny character man?

Down the market stalls there used to be the man who made the little resin characters with the hair, they hold a little sign with a cheeky message, anyone whos been to Icmeler would have seen him, hundreds of them on his stall.

Is he still about?

Hi Erik the Viking.
There is a shop just past the Florida rest/bar,heading towards Wednesday market .They had lots of the resin characters on sale last week .I don't know if its the same person who was selling them down on the canal though .Hope this helps .

Its not the same man that was down the canal stalls as he now has a bag shop next to florida, he does still have baldies in stock but just does not have them on display
