Info please The Varol Hotel

Due to the collapse of Goldtrail we had to cancel the rest of holiday plans and book a completely new holiday, as we were already out of pocket for the flight cost we were limited on what we could spend on replacement, anyway we had to stick to our original dates and the Varol Hotel was one of the first to catch our eye so booked it. We know it's on a main street but is it the one with the Tansas or the next one down If anyone has stayed there would love some feedback.

Madmackem, sorry to hear you got caught in the goldtrail fiasco. We stayed at the varol june/july. It is located right opposite 3/4 bells just down from the tansas. Cant complain about the hotel. The staff were friendly and couldnt do enough to help. Towels and bed linen changed about 3 times per week, each room has a full size fridge in, safety deposit boxes are downstairs in reception (dont know how much they cost as we never used 1) and aircon is £35 for 2 weeks i think. Cant comment on breakfast as we never made it up in time too many cocktails and early mornings dont do me any good Hope you enjoy your holiday

Thanks everyone for your replies feel more settled now , I know its nice to try diffrent holtels from time to time but we've usually seen or had a hotel recommended and we just couldn't picture this one. We should have been at the Efendi , (love that hotel) but at such short notice beggers can't be choosers. We were luck we could pull the money together my heart goes out to those who lost their holiday and couldn't sort anything out.
And I will be remembering the greedy companies that made a killing with the disgusting price rises for replacements. They will not be getting my money next year thats for certian.
