morning tony, depends on where you are staying they charge you per day in the past we have been around £100 for two weeks but it varies you also need to pay for a safety deposit box if you want one but it's not much.Only one more sleep for us we go early hours thurs morning can't wait.by the way the sevgi apt which is down the hill from where you are staying do really good food and if you are a good customer he will allow you to go on his midnight cruise free of charge and it's fab ,have a good holiday , sandra

Agree with Sevgi Apt having good food. Have stayed here before and the food was excellent. Last time they were offering a free breadkfast if you had an evening meal. DOes anyone have any idea of any special offers this year? Di. :)

I vagely remember someone telling once (after a few Efes) that it meant beutiful princess or soemthing like that. Someone will correct me if i'm wrong. denisthefish: you had my son worried then, he thought he was first in line for that honour, she is very pretty though. Will see them 2 weeks Friday when we fly out. The air conditioning a the angel inn (behind Sevgi) is £60 for a fortnight. It is usual to pay between £50-£100 for 2 weeks. Di.

Are there any apartments, where the air conditioning actually......well.......works?
I mean, I'm not complaining, we were ok, but this year at the Moonlight, the aircon units - individual ones in the bedroom, they were really no better than a large flat fan, it certainly wasn't super cold air it was blowing out.

It's been the same in pretty much any holiday apartment we've ever stayed in, including the ones in Menorca - a little bit cold at best, but it isn't going to win any awards for chilling.

Or do the places with decent aircon, are they the places which actually charge for it per day? This is of course fair enough if it's efficient as opposed to a fan

Just curious really

Maybe we've just been lucky, but the places we've stayed in have had excellent air con, even to the extent that sometimes we've had to turn it off because the kids were moaning that it was too cold!

em depends on where your staying
but normally we are around £20-£30 a week

You may have been just unlucky, I have always found the air conditioning fine at the Moonlight (6 Visits), even had to turn it off at night because it was too cold. Did have one problem a couple of years ago but reported it and the issue was resolved that day.

its well worth the extra money for air con as it can get really hot when you just come into your room at night
sometimes we had to turn ours off for a while at night when we woke up and it was too cold but about an hour later we had to switch it on again

I prefer a fan, you can have a fan or air con at Kurt Apartments. The fans are really powerful, not like those cheap stand up ones.
